<span class="text">Cedar Point owes its existence to Lake Erie
and the tempting white sand beach along the park's northern shore. The beach is
a Sandusky entrepreneur, brought them across Sandusky Bay on a small side-wheel steamer
named the Young Reindeer. When they got to Cedar Point, folks could change in a<b>
<span class="text">Other steamers began making the trip to amusement park Cedar
Point, where you could listen to music played by local brass bands, perhaps whirling
across a small dance floor.<b>Visitors picnicked in the meadows (right)and woods along
the breezy peninsula and camped if they wanted to stay overnight. These were the simple
