(See<A HREF="1j.-uyBk2I9X3cS.html">Application-relatedPreferences</A><B>.)</B><P>The default folder name may always be thesame, or it may vary based on the name of thesender, or it may change according to a patternmatched in the message headers. In any case,the name of the folder will be show in the menu.(See<A HREF="OUb3vyBctI9X3cS.html">Save Patterns Option</A>.)<P><DT><B>To Folder</B><B>(</B><U>R</U><B>ecent)</B>-><DD>Slide to the right to show a list of the mostrecently used folder names. The number ofnames kept in the list can be set in the<B>ApplicationPreferences</B> window.<B>(See</B><A HREF="1j.-uyBk2I9X3cS.html">Application-relatedPreferences</A><B>.)</B><P><DT><B>To Folder (List)</B>-><DD>Slide to the right to show a list of all to folders inyour folder directory. You can set the defaultfolder directory in the<B>Application Preferences</B>window.<B>(See</B><A HREF="1j.-uyBk2I9X3cS.html">Application-related Preferences</A><B>.)</B><P><P><HR><B>TIP:</B><BR>If you have many folders in your folderdirectory, it may take a few seconds to buildthe list. Keep the mouse button pressed downuntil the list finally appears, then select afolder name.<HR></P><DT><B>To Folder (</B><U>S</U><B>elected)</B><DD>Saves the current or selected message(s) to amail folder (except the<B>In-box</B>) that you haveselected (highlighted) in the mail foldersviewing area.<P><DT><B>To Folder ...</B><DD>Saves the current or selected message(s) to aspecified mail folder. When you click<B>To</B><U>F</U><B>older ...</B>,the<B>Select Folder</B> window appears in which you cantype the name of the destination folder. You canalso click the<B>Show list</B> button to expand thewindow and select the destination folder fromyour list of mail folders.<P>You can either<B>Move</B> the message or<B>Copy</B> themessage to the specified destination.<P>See<A HREF="uO2ZgMB8BJ9X3cS.html">Using the File Selection Window</A> forinformation on how to use the<B>Select Folder</B>window.<P><DT><B>To</B><B>F</B><U>i</U><B>le ...</B><DD>Saves the current or selected message(s) to aspecified file. When you click<B>To f</B><U>i</U><B>le ...</B>, the<B>SelectFile</B> window appears in which you can type thename of the destination file. You can also clickthe<B>Show list</B> button to expand the window andselect the destination file from your file listing.<P>The<B>Select File</B> window also provides options forsaving or not saving the mail headers. Chooseone of the following:<P><DL><DT><B>Save all headers</B><DD>Saves the message and the headersthat are displayed in the headerwindow as well as all hidden headers.<P><DT><B>Save displayed headers only</B><DD>Saves the message and only theheaders that are displayed in theheader window.<P><DT><B>Don't save headers</B><DD>Saves the message only.<P></DL>You can either<B>Move</B> the message or<B>Copy</B> themessage to the specified destination. See<A HREF="uO2ZgMB8BJ9X3cS.html">Usingthe File Selection Window</A>.<P></DL>When the message is saved, the status flag<B>S</B> appears inthe message status flag column.<P>If the<B>Mark messages for deletion after saving</B> preference is set inthe<B>Application Preferences</B><B>window</B>, the message will bemarked with the status flags<B>SD</B>, indicating that themessage has been saved and marked for deletion.<P>If the<B>Hide messages marked for deletion</B> option is set<B>in the</B><B>Application Preferences</B><B>window</B>, the message will be removedfrom the list altogether.
