It is intended for composing messages to besent toH&L Technical Support.<P>It shares the "look and feel" of the Composition window andcontains many of its standard elements, including pull-downmenus, subject and recipient text fields, a multiple-line messagecomposition field, and an append signature button. However, theComment on Application window also contains severalwindow-specific fixed fields for supplying information that isexclusive to the H&L support staff. (See the figure "Elements ofthe Comment on Application Window" below.)<P>For general information about using the pull-down menus andother standard components in the Comment on Applicationwindow, refer to<A HREF="Vj-1vFBulI9X3cS.html">Composition Window</A>. You cannot edit any of the text in fixed field areas, but youcan click radio buttons in the<B>Category</B> and<B>Weight</B> fields thatidentify the type of comment you are making and the priority ofyour comment. The fixed fields are:<DL><DT><B>Product</B><DD>Identifies the type of H&L product you are using, in thiscase, a communications product.<P><DT><B>Component</B><DD>Identifies the specific application component, in thiscase, the H&L Mail Tool.<P><DT><B>Version</B><DD>Shows the version number of the component.<P><DT><B>Category</B><DD>Identifies a category for your comment. To select acategory, click the button to the left of the item that mostclosely describes your comment:<P><UL><LI>Bug<P></LI><LI>Performance<P></LI><LI>Function<P></LI><LI>User Interface<P></LI><LI>Other<P></LI></UL>This field is somewhat subjective. If your commentdoesn't fit well into any of the specific categories, click<B>Other</B>.<P><DT><B>Weight</B><DD>Identifies the relative priority of your comment. To selecta weight value, click the button to the left of theappropriate value:<P><UL><LI>Very High<P></LI><LI>High<P></LI><LI>Medium<P></LI><LI>Low<P></LI><LI>Very Low<P></LI></UL>This field, too, is subjective. If you are reporting what youfeel is a serious problem, give it a high priority.
