It gives you a fast and easy way to compose, read, andmanage your electronic mail. The full capabilities of thegraphical interface are exploited through the support ofmulti-media mail. Here is a list of<CITE>Ishmail</CITE>'s features.<UL><LI>A "WYSIWYG" text editor is included for composing mailmessages. This editor lets you interactively apply fontand format changes and imbed multi-media data inmessages. multi-media data are represented by iconswhich flow with the surrounding text.<P></LI><LI><CITE>Ishmail</CITE> includes built-in support for composing, viewing,and printing mail with mixed fonts, character sets, andformatting attributes (bold, italic, underline, etc.).<P></LI><LI>You can use international character sets whencomposing, reading, and printing mail (includingRFC1522 mail headers).<P></LI><LI>You can use an external editor, such as<CITE>vi</CITE> or<CITE>emacs</CITE>, tocompose message text. An external spelling checker canbe used to verify spelling. Each pattern can have adifferent action.
