INSTALLATION
------------
There is no particular installation required for Fate at this time.
Simply unzip the files using the directory structure in the zip
file, using a decompression program like WinZip.

Note that the Java 2 runtime is required.  (See PLATFORM)


RUNNING FATE
------------
Run either FateServer.class or FateClient.class.
Methods for running Java class files vary on different systems,
but usually a command like "java FateServer" will suffice.

On Windows platforms, you can use the supplied "server.bat",
and "client.bat" files.


PLATFORM
--------
This version of Fate was designed to run under Sun's Java 2,
version 1.2 or higher.  You need either the Java Development
Kit (JDK) or Java Runtime Environment (JRE).  These can be
found on Sun's website: http://java.sun.com
