If using a box for mounting the jack, hold the cable, and feed it through one of the slots into the box. Then push the box into the wall opening. Use the screws to secure the box to the wall's surface. As the screws are tightened, the box will be pulled tighter to the wall. If you are mounting the jack in a low-voltage mounting bracket, place the bracket against the wall opening, the smooth side facing outward. Push the top and bottom flanges toward the back so that the bracket grips the wall.
