      backbone links should be tested at 1310 nm and 1550 nm in accordance with
      ANSI/TIA/EIA-526-7, Method A.1, One Reference Jumper. Multimode backbone
      links shall be tested at 850 nm and 1300 nm in accordance with ANSI/TIA/EIA-526-14A,
      Method B, One Reference Jumper. Because backbone length and the potential
      number of splices vary depending upon site conditions, the link
      attenuation equation should be used to determine acceptance values at each
      of the applicable wavelengths.</font>
