The 
.PN lock
command requests a password from the user, then asks you to confirm
the password by typing it in again.  The terminal refuses to
relinquish the terminal until the password is repeated.  If
you forget the password, you must 
log in elsewhere and kill the lock process.

Should time out after 15 minutes.
