It# seems to work ok. There is one problem though if one types a lot of# garbage characters very fast vi seems not able to keep up and hangs# while trying to insert. That's in insert mode while trying to insert in# the middle of a line. It might be because the Esprit doesn't have# insert char and delete char as a built in function.
