What this really meansis that we are still working on the code and it is <i>really</i> not suitablefor public release. What we have done is made the source code available forthose that are interested in following the pre-release development or inpushing the envelope on our development.<p><b><i>Load this code and mess with it at your own peril.</i></b> Currentlythe code is likely to crash your machine and cause you to have to reboot. Youmay irreparably damage your header files and be unable to recompile yourkernel. You may have to reload you system. There is no warranty.<p>We hope to have an beta release of the stack which is suitable for publicconsumption around December 2001. If you are interested in becoming a betatester and help us stabilize the beta release, please drop us a note at <ahref="mailto:openss7@openss7.org">openss7@openss7.org</a> and let us know yourintentions.<p>We have released the Prerelease1 version of our Linux SCTP Kernelimplementation. This is a fairly stable patch on the Redhat 2.2.12-20 kernel.We will be releasing a STREAMS version of SCTP for use with SUA, M3UA, M2UA andM2PA shortly.<p>We have just released the Beta version of our STREAMS version of SCTP for LiSSTREAMS. This is the version that will be used for the soon to be releasedM2PA, M2UA, M3UA and SUA.<p><img src="newbar.gif" alt="!!NEW!!" align="bottom" border=0>We have just relaeased the OpenSS7 M2PA implementation which passes 73 (allthe applicable) Q.781 conformance test cases.
