The Start Button is not enabled. Why?
The Start button is enabled after you set your 'Modem Device' from Settings. Remember incompatible modems will not get displayed and you won't be able to use this simple answering machine. A simple solution to this is to get yourself a voice modem with a wave device, all recent modems (for Windows 2000+) do support TAPI 1.4. Use your Test Program to test your hardware.

The volume of the wave file played is very slow, Why?
Please use the Volume Control Panel to Increase/Decrease the Recording and Playback Volume.

How do I check if my hardware supports wave file playback and recording on modem?
Please execute the following i.e Click here Program .(TAPIINFO.EXE Please wait for a while for the program to finish execution). If  the TAPI info reports that the samples will work on one of your lines then Dialgo Telephone Answering Machine must work on your machine.

Can I use my own voice recording for playback ?
Yes. Please record a PCM wave, convert it to CCITT u_Law 8000Hz, 8 Bit Mono and then save it to the path of the program installation as Greeting.wav. Contact us if you don't have any such utility.
