qdel \- \*(Fx fax spool job deleter for efax
.SH SYNOPSIS
.B qdel
[ -a | prefix ]
.SH DESCRIPTION
.B qdel
allows users to effectively cancel a fax they've spooled via
.B qfax
or
.B qsend
by deleting it from the outgoing fax spool.  Users can only
delete their own faxes (except root, of course).

.SH OPTIONS
.B a
deletes all faxes owned by the user, or all faxes in the spool
if the user is root.

.B prefix
deletes the fax with the stated ID prefix, if it belongs to the
user, or the user is root.

.SH "FAX ID PREFIX"
A fax is uniquely identified by its
.B prefix
, which is always of the form:

.B fax.<senderid>.<timestamp>

e.g. "fax.joe.07Sep165403".  In order to determine the ID prefix
of a fax, use the
.B qstat
command.

.SH DIAGNOSTICS
.B qdel
acknowledges successful deletions with a response similar to:

.B Removed fax <prefix>.

Failed attempts due to permission problems generate:

.B <prefix> : Permission denied.
