Abstract:In this paper,the mathematical model of the three-phase to four-phase power transformer with a four-phase four-limb structure has been constructed;the winding impedance relations among the transformer winding impedances are analyzed;neutral point ground conditions and balance conditions,which we has to satisfy at the design stage of the three-phase to four-phase transformer,are presented and proven.An actual three-phase to four-phase power transformer experimental model is designed and manufactured.The tested results verify the theoretical validity of the proposed winding impedance relations of the transformer.
