谷歌2019博士生奖研金项目新科入选名单公布：全球55人入选，其中华人/中国学生13人。
谷歌的博士生奖研金项目（Google Ph.D Fellowship Program）创立于2009 年，以奖励在计算机学科及其相关学科或者其它前瞻科研领域方面表现优异的博士生。
该项目为攻读计算机科学（或相关领域）研究生学位的学生提供了一个独特的机会，资助其自由探索影响未来的科技。创立10年来，Google Ph.D Fellowship已经资助来自澳大利亚、中国和东亚、印度、北美、欧洲、中东和非洲的近400名学生。每年，谷歌PhD Fellows会被邀请参加全球 PhD Fellowship Summit，在那里他们可以接触到谷歌正在进行的最先进的研究，并有机会与谷歌的研究员以及来自世界各地的其他博士研究生交流。
Google PhD Fellowship SummitFellows们有机会展示海报，与谷歌的研究员讨论他们的工作，并从各自领域的大牛那里直接获得反馈。小组讨论由2位来自Google和2位来自学术界的校友组成，同时提供来自学术界和工业界的观点。
今天，谷歌在官方博客宣布了新科Ph.D Fellowship入选者。一共55人入选，其中，中国人/华人学生13人，分别比去年少2人。
Peilin Zhong, Columbia University哥伦比亚大学计算机科学专业4年级博士，导师为 Alex Andoni, Cliff Stein, and Mihalis Yannakakis，研究方向理论计算机科学，主要是在算法的设计和分析。本科在清华大学姚班学习，发表顶会（包括NeurIPS、ICML、ICALP、SODA等）论文14篇，今年一年发表6篇！http://www.cs.columbia.edu/~peilin/Zhe Feng, Harvard University哈佛大学计算机科学专业3年级博士，导师为David C.
