介绍了基于单片机C8051F020的通用串口适配器的设计与实现方法，即由单片机控制的智能化一对多口收发信号转换器。通过采用C51对单片机进行编程，控制与RS-232（标准RS-232电平）、RS232(TTL电平)、RS-422接口的数据通信；采用C++ Builder作为开发平台，通过RS-232接口实现上位机对适配器各个通信端口的控制。 Abstract: Design and realization of a universal serial port adapter based on the MCU C8051F020 are introduced.The adapter is an intelligent one-to-more receiving and transmitting signal converter controlled by the MCU. By programming the MCU with the language C51,MCU control data communication between the MCU and RS-232(RS-232 level),RS-232(TTL level),RS-422 port; Using C++ Builder as the development plane, by one RS232 port, the upper PC can control each of the communication port of the adapter.

The MAX3243E device consists of three line drivers, five line receivers, and a dual charge-pump circuit with±15-kV ESD (HBM and IEC61000-4-2, Air-Gap Discharge) and ±8-kV ESD (IEC61000-4-2, Contact Discharge)protection on serial-port connection pins. The device meets the requirements of TIA/EIA-232-F and provides theelectrical interface between an asynchronous communication controller and the serial-port connector. Thiscombination of drivers and receivers matches that needed for the typical serial port used in an IBM PC/AT, orcompatible. The charge pump and four small external capacitors allow operation from a single 3-V to 5.5-Vsupply. In addition, the device includes an always-active noninverting output (ROUT2B), which allowsapplications using the ring indicator to transmit data while the device is powered down. The device operates atdata signaling rates up to 250 kbit/s and a maximum of 30-V/ms driver output slew rate.

The data communication between LabVIEW and microcont roller is executed via serial port ,and the temperature field data of air condition room are processed analyzed and displayed on LabVIEW. On the LPC13xx, programming, erasure and re-programming of the on-chip flash can be performed using In-System Programming (ISP) via the UART serial port, and also, can be performed using In-Application Programming (IAP) calls directed by the end-user code.
