  • Distributed+Quality-of-SERVICE+Support

    This thesis is about wireless communication in shared radio spectrum. Its origin and motivation is ideally represented by the two quotations from above. In this thesis, the support of Quality-of-SERVICE (QoS) in cognitive radio networks is analyzed. New approaches to distributed coordination of cognitive radios are developed in different spectrum sharing scenarios. The Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) 802.11 proto- col of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) (IEEE, 2003) with its enhancement for QoS support (IEEE, 2005d) is taken as basis. The Medium Access Control (MAC) of 801.11(e) is modified to realize flexible and dynamic spectrum assignment within a liberalized regulation framework.

    Over the past few decades there has been an exponential growth in SERVICE robots and smart home technologies, which has led to the development of exciting new products in our daily lives. SERVICE robots can be used to provide domestic aid for the elderly and disabled, serving various functions ranging from cleaning to enter- tainment. SERVICE robots are divided by functions, such as personal robots, field robots, security robots, healthcare robots, medical robots, rehabilitation robots and entertainment robots. A smart home appears “intelligent” because its embedded computers can monitor so many aspects of the daily lives of householders. For example, the refrigerator may be able to monitor its contents, suggest healthy alter- natives and order groceries. Also, the smart home system may be able to clean the house and water the plants.

    自动气象站是一种应用于气象部门能自动收集、处理、存储和传输气象信息的设备。数据传输包括有线和无线两种方式,但有线难以满足自动气象站成本,维护,效率要求,随着通用分线无线业务GPRS(General Packet Radio SERVICE)发展成熟,因具有成本低、速度快、永久在线等特点被选用作为自动气象站的数据传输部分。 本文以基于ARM和Linux及GPRS的自动气象站系统为研究对象,以操作系统,计算机体系结构,编译原理,数据结构,软件工程等理论为基础,构建了ARM处理器、嵌入式Linux操作系统、GPRS通讯模块的自动气象站系统。实现了以ARM处理器为主控制器,Linux为操作系统,应用程序进行数据收集,分析,处理,存储,并通过GPRS进行数据传输等功能,并验证了它应用在气象领域的可行性。系统以32位高性能微处理器ARMATMEL9263为硬件核心,以BENQ M23为GPRS模块,在分析GPRS组网方案基础上根据实际情况选择了适合本课题,的公网固定IP方式组网方案,实现终端设备无线连接到Internet进行气象数据传输。以嵌入式操作系统Linux为软件平台,在Linux的交叉编译工具和串口环境下进行应用软件开发。通过设计自动气象站系统硬件和软件,实现终端和上位机的连接,很好地解决了终端的网络连接、网络检测和数据收发问题。 课题通过具体实验测试,各项性能指标已达到设计要求,成功地实现了远距离气象数据传输,为自动气象站提供了一种新型的可靠的无线传输模式。

  • 基于ARM的GPS定位系统设计

    当前全球定位系统(Navigation Satellite Timing And Ranging Global Position System,简称GPS)广泛应用于舰船导航,航空航天,地理测绘等领域,特别是移动式定位系统对于目前的城市交通管理有着非常重要的意义。本文分析了当前交通管理中的实际问题,介绍了一种车载终端的设计方法。设计采用ARM9内核的S3C2410微处理器构造的嵌入式系统,可以实现对GPS定位信息的接受和处理,并采用嵌入式Linux操作系统,结合开放式Linux图形软件Qt,可以为后续的建立地理信息系统(Geographic information system,简称GIS)提供数据支持,是集GPS全球卫星定位系统和通用分组无线业务(General Packet Radio SERVICE,简称GPRS)无线通信技术于一体的新型电子产品。它为现代交通运输提供了新颖,可靠,有效的控制和管理途径。 车载终端通过将GPS模块的定位信息提取出来,一方面将定位信息在车载终端上显示,一方面又结合车辆的状态信息通过GPRS模块发送出去,该信息通过无线公共网络传输给车辆管理部门。车辆管理部门根据车辆的位置和状态等,结合GIS系统中的地图信息提供GPS数据的差分修正,并采取一定的措施,从而实现车辆的有效管理。 本设计从硬件和软件两大部分出发,硬件上设计了ARM处理器、存储器、内存及其外围电路,另外还有GPS模块电路和GPRS模块电路;软件上采用Qt的人机界面完成数据显示与更新,采用PPP拨号脚本完成GPRS模块的拨号,通过Qt多线程编程的方法完成GPS数据的提取和GPRS的信息发送。在硬件和软件之间采用了嵌入式Linux系统,包括启动代码、内核和文件系统等。
