Frequently, voltage reference stability and noise defi nemeasurement limits in instrumentation systems. In particular,reference noise often sets stable resolution limits.Reference voltages have decreased with the continuingdrop in system power supply voltages, making referencenoise increasingly important. The Compressed signalprocessing range mandates a commensurate reductionin reference noise to maintain resolution. Noise ultimatelytranslates into quantization uncertainty in A to D converters,introducing jitter in applications such as scales, inertialnavigation systems, infrared thermography, DVMs andmedical imaging apparatus. A new low voltage reference,the LTC6655, has only 0.3ppm (775nV) noise at 2.5VOUT.Figure 1 lists salient specifi cations in tabular form. Accuracyand temperature coeffi cient are characteristic ofhigh grade, low voltage references. 0.1Hz to 10Hz noise,particularly noteworthy, is unequalled by any low voltageelectronic reference.

Contains a complete archiver by Haruhiko Okumura. The archiver uses an LZ engine whose output is Compressed with static Huffman. The file is chopped into pieces which all get their own independent set of Huffman tree s. ARJ 2.41, ZIP 2.0 and PKZIP 2.04g use essentially the same method. ZOO and LHA even use excactly the same method.

UCOS/II for ICCAVR - The version of UCOS/II is 2.04 - the original port was done by Ole Saether for the IAR compiler. Jens E. Holtegaard ported one version using ICCAVR. Joerg Meyer did another port (using Jens port as a start?). This is basically Joerg s port plus a little bit of changes and documentation by me. - YOU MUST DOWNLOAD THE MAIN PART OF THE UCOS/II FROM THE UCOS/II WEBSITE http://www.ucos-ii.com . The supplied project file assumes the portable source is in the ..\source directory. - Joerg has written couple document showing the stack frames etc. but it is in German :-) They are included in this directory. - The Timer2 overflow interrupt is used for Timer Tick. If you want to change that, modify os_cpu_c.c and os_cpu_a.s - I have tested this using ATMega103 with and without external RAM using AVR Studio simulator. See test1.c test program. Both Code Compressed (PRO) and STD versions have been tested.

This project features a complete JPEG Hardware Compressor (standard Baseline DCT, JFIF header) with 2:1:1 subsampling, able to compress at a rate of up to 24 images per second (on XC2V1000-4 @ 40 MHz with resolution 352x288). Image resolution is not limited. It takes an RGB input (row-wise) and outputs to a memory the Compressed JPEG image. Its quality is comparable to software solutions.
