利用GPRS网络传输基于Zigbee无线传感器汇节点数据的完整无线网络设计，网络采用星型或MESH网状网络拓扑和需求时唤醒Zigbee模块的通信方式，有效降低了每个Zigbee传感器节点的功耗，减少了传感器节点向汇节点上报数据时相互碰撞的概率，并利用GPRS网络传输汇节点的数据，改变了传统无线传感器网络需要依托有线公共网络进行数据传输的限制，使网络具有非常显著的优点。
